Chaise.
What a comfy looking chaise, but seriously $3,650 for it? Common. I don't think it would be that hard to construct one myself, using some heavy duty foam padding and some sick sewing skills.

From the same store, woah, this rubber chair is sweet.

Part 2 of New Garden Camp
New Garden Camp
Part 1 of the weekend getaway. It's been a few days since my last post and I hope I didnt lose any of my loyal readers! Come back, you know you can't stay away forever.
Pottersdale, Pa.
Thursday evening we arrived at New Garden Camp around 11:30pm. We cracked open some of my favorite $3 bottles of Trader Joes wine and enjoyed the kitchen atmosphere. Pook found a hat.

Saturday morning was bacon, eggs, and coffee eaten on the deck in the cool morning air.

After that we took a little walk through the meadow and then went into town on some erands: Gas, beer, and fishing licenses.

The effects of strip mining at the old place. There used to be a street here and a few residents. Now there are a few abandon houses and a gigantic hole.

July 4th. Patriotism hits in Pottersdale.

Saturday am we took it easy.

Another drive.

More to come...

Marie.
-->One of my favorite scenes with The Cure blaring.
So, finally I got around to watching Marie Antoinette. This one had been on my list for a while and I remember really wanting to see it when it came out but then everyone was poopooing it so much that I lost my motivation. So I waited patiently for it to come out on DVD and I rented it from Netflix. I threw it in last night while I was putting my Ikea storage boxes together (fun, fun!).
It was pure eye candy, omg. The hair, makeup, her dresses! were amazing. The color scheme of the entire movie was great from the golds, baby blues, creams, ivorys all the way till the end where Kirsten Dunst has her sad face on and is wearing that black satin number with a contrasting grey belt around her waist.
Oh AND, and and and, all the ruffles and lace and her bright red lipstick.

Although i'm not a huge fan of Jason Swartzman or the dialog of the movie, it was still great, and i'll probably watch it a few more times before I return it. Maybe i'll bring it to Camp Joe (posts to come).
