Tiny House

Today's post is pretty much the opposite of yesterday's post. I love extremes and opposites. This is a Tiny House. It was built by Mark Terrano, who only wants to live in 200 square feet of space. I think it's super cute and cozy, but it looks like someone could rig it up and drive away with it.

190 Bowery

A family of three lives in this six story, roughly 35,000 square foot building located at 190 Bowery. It was purchased in 1966 for $102,000.
Amazing.

Table for 10

Who here has always wanted their own personal pool table in their home? Anyone? Guys?? Yeah me neither, but I know someone out there has, and if that someone is you then you should get one of these. The cool thing about this is, when you're not using it you don't have some ugly pool table sitting in the middle of your living room. You have instead, an elegant dining table that seats 10.

Painted rug.

This is a great slide show. Every surface of this house is gorgeously white-washed which I love, but my favorite part about the house is that most of the rooms have had a simple outline of a white rug painted on the stone floor. Even the outdoor spaces have been painted. Its so rich-rustic-beach.

Things

I do not usually like things that just sit on your desk or bookshelf and barely have a purpose but to take up space, (I mean seriously, when is the last time you needed to magnify something) but these are very pretty and I would be glad to have them on my desk or bookshelf.
From Restoration Hardware.

Finally.

I know thats what you're thinking.
My excuse... I just hadn't come across anything lately that really made me want to jump up and down...until I came across this site showcasing simply designed furniture. The designers and owners of Uhuru live in Williamsburg.
And, this bed is nice too, but wow look at those floors. Love how clean this room looks.

China Town

I am totally digging these book ends from CB2. One is male and one is female and they aim to protect you and your home. Cool.

This rug is pretty sweet and weird too.
