Woah, check out this article in the NYTimes. This woman let her kids and their classmates color all over the white couch and chairs. Holy crap this would not have flown in my house growing up, although we didn't have a designer white couch and chairs.

I'm reading The Day Diana Died right now. It's pretty good, pretty sad too. I've always been sort of facinated with her and the whole royal set up, so I thought I'd post some pics of the Princess.
Diana dancing with John Travolta. The book mentions that the dress that she is wearing here sold for about $220,000 at a charity auction.
I need a dress like this. I'd wear it to work.

Wall moldings.

I like the wall moldings in these before and after shots, but i'm not so sure I like the after better than the before. What do you think?

Chaise.

What a comfy looking chaise, but seriously $3,650 for it? Common. I don't think it would be that hard to construct one myself, using some heavy duty foam padding and some sick sewing skills.
