Punk Rock Flea Market
Hey guys... I am going to be selling at the Punk Rock Flea Market in Philly this Sunday the 25th and I have no idea what to expect! I think it will be really fun and my entire table is going to be one big humongous vintage-inspired sale. So that right there is kinda fun for you. The PRF is held in a huge loft space with over 250 vendors selling everything from handmade items to records to furniture to food to automobile parts. What?
Come check me out! Doors open at 10am. Hope to see you there.

Belt Making
I just made this test belt out of vinyl. I'm pleased that I actually had all of the tools (scrap vinyl, buckle, rivet, leather puncher, rotary cuter and mat) to complete the project. This doesn't always happen and as a result the project gets tossed into the finish-it-later-pile. The hardest part is cutting the belt length super straight. Anyone know of a good leather dealer in NYC?

Boxer Top
Wallet
The last time that I left town on a big fabric run, I hit up PA for all of my materials, I came across a large bin of leather scraps. For about an hour, I picked through all of the scraps and left with all of the black, tan, and camel colored pieces that I could find. So buttery...I love leather like this.
I made some wallets. You can find these on my etsy store.

The World of Wovens
I experimented with two things yesterday. Wovens and bias tape! Wovens are very unforgiving and really hold you accountable for your design and pattern...any mess-ups will be spotted right away.
But isn't the look so crisp and clean? It's totally worth the time and effort involved. I tested this summer top. It's kinda cute, if you're into prints depicting ladies chillin' and painting pretty pictures in the grass. Pics of the non-test top to come...
